Key Features
- Full visual information
- Metric 360o panoramas in common coordinate system
- Automatic on-server processing
- User-defined asset database
- 3D measurements
- Issue tracking
- Available as SaaS or dedicated server installation
- 100% in-house solution
User management
- User management enables administrators to control users, define access policies, and secure digital assets
- Users are grouped into organizations
- Inside organization users can be assigned to different projects with different roles
- All users' activities are tracked and registered for maximum security.
The data
-
INPUT
- RGB Panoramas
- 3D pointclouds (.ptx, .e57)
-
OUTPUT
- Optimized RGB panoramas
- Intensity Panoramas
- Depth maps
- Planes
- Flor plans
-
PROCESSING
- Full on-server processing using CUDA GPU based calculations. No need to install any software on desktop computers.
Project organization
- Projects are divided into floors and rooms
- Floor plans are used for easy navigation
- Basic floor plans are automatically generated based on LiDAR data
- Basic floor plans can be replaced with user-created ones or any WMS service
Navigation
- Every panorama can be accessed by its name from the list
- User can move between panoramas using jump symbols or marks on the floor plans
- Particular view can be saved as hotspot and named for easy navigation to key locations
Measurements
- Every pixel on the panorama has it’s XYZ representation in project coordinate system
- User can measure distances, angles and areas
- Each point is checked for reliability of the point cloud to avoid false measurements in poorly defined areas (like edges)
- Measurement can be saved to CSV file for future use

Planes
- Planes can be automatically detected on lidar during data processing
-
Planes are used to make advanced measurements:
- Distance to a plane
- Distance on a plane
- Area on a plane
- Angle on a plane
Objects
- Objects are database entries linked to specific vector item
- Objects can made of points, lines or shapes
- User draws an object on any panorama and fills all necessary data
- Thanks to the surveying approach object is visible automatically on all relevant panoramas

Custom database
Table view
- Objects can be displayed as a tables of attributes
- Table can be exported to Microsoft Excell file for further analysis
- By clicking on an item user can jump directly to specific object on a panorama

Editing
- User with the appropriate permissions can edit the parameters of an object at any time, including its geometry.
Linked files
- OrbiView allows to attach external files such as photos, scans, or documents to each object.
-
System supports two kinds of files:
- Project library files - files that are common to many objects, like operating instructions or product cards. Such files are stored once and linked to relevant objects. This avoids data redundancy and simplifies updates.
- Object-specific files - files that are unique to a specific object, such as a technical inspection report for a particular device.

Issues
- Orbiview can be used to track assed conditions and maintenance through issues
- Issues can be attached to specific object or be placed freely on any point of panorama
- Issues, like objects can have unlimited number of custom attributes
- User can attach files to the issues, for example detailed photo of a damage
Issues user assignment & notifications
- Every issue can be assigned to multiple users
-
Assigned users are notified about issue by:
- In-app notification
- All notifications consists direct link to the issue for fast and convenient review

Deployment and Customization
-
OrbiView can be deployed in several ways:
- SaaS on DEPHOS Group servers
- On 3rd party servers like Amazon or Microsoft
- Locally on client’s infrastructure for maximum data security
- 3rd party application integration through API
- 100% DEPHOS Group in-house solution can be modified and developed on demand
